Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Infernum (the "Service"), including the Discord bot, website and dashboard. By adding the bot to a server or using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and respectfully. You will not:

• Use the Service to violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
• Play content that is illegal, infringing, or otherwise prohibited where you operate.
• Harass, abuse, or disrupt other users or communities through the Service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.

2. Abuse Prevention & Fair Use

To keep the Service available for everyone, we enforce command cooldowns, rate limits and anti-abuse measures. We may throttle, restrict, or block usage that we reasonably believe is abusive, automated, or designed to degrade the Service for others.

3. Music Source Disclaimer

Infernum does not host, own, or stream copyrighted audio from Spotify, Apple Music, or JioSaavn. Those services are used for metadata only. Audio playback is sourced from publicly available platforms (e.g. YouTube) via our audio backend. You are responsible for ensuring your use of any content complies with applicable laws and the terms of the originating platforms. Infernum is not affiliated with or endorsed by Discord, Spotify, Apple, YouTube, or JioSaavn.

4. Availability Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change, be suspended, or be discontinued at any time. Third-party outages (Discord, audio sources, hosting providers) may affect availability and are outside our control.

5. Premium & Payments

Core features are free. Optional paid features may be offered in the future. Any paid features, pricing and refund terms will be presented at the point of purchase and incorporated into these Terms. Until checkout is available, no payments are processed.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Infernum and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.

7. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, in whole or in part, at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms or to protect the Service and its users. You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot from your server and revoking website access.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Infernum and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
